Schedule: Monday – Friday 9 am – 5 pm

Salary: Salary is commensurate with experience

Items to have to be considered for this role:

PhD in Behavior Analysis
BCBA license
At least 10 years of experience in a clinical setting
Experience with adults with developmental disabilities and / or Brain Injury
Experience with residential services required
At least 5 years of supervisory experience

The Director of Clinical Services will plan, direct, and oversee all developmental services clinical systems for Vinfen’s day and residential programs in the developmental services division. The Director of Clinical Services will oversee the clinical aspects of individual service planning, assessment and intervention technologies selected and used by staff, staff training and development, applied behavioral analysis interventions, and other projects.

The Director of Clinical Services will also:

Provide clinical supervision and training to clinical services staff within the Developmental Services Division. Provide input to Directors of Service on the hiring of clinical staff. Participate in clinical team meetings.
Manage clinical performance. Provide direction, training, and coaching; implement recognition and rewards programs; conduct performance planning and review sessions; provide guidance on career development in collaboration with the Director of Service and/or VP.
Work with the Senior VP of the Developmental Services Division, Vinfen Medical Director, and Chief Operating Officer to develop and maintain standards and systems for clinical services, including program specific policies and procedures for developing and implementing clinical assessments and interventions.
Consult with Directors of Service regarding clinical issues pertinent to each cluster.
Supervise and support program staff development activities in clinical areas, including training programs, as necessary.
Oversee approval process and implementation of Level II behavioral interventions, all supportive and protective devices, and anti-psychotic medication in conjunction with physicians. Recommend clinical interventions/strategies to staff as necessary.
Participate in Restraint Review Committee and provide consultation and training to programs when there are issues around the use of restraint.
Ensure regulatory compliance of all clinical systems. Develop and revise clinical system standards, assessments, interventions, and implementation procedures, as needed.
Attend and/or facilitate selected case conferences as recommended by the Senior VP of Developmental Services based on input from Directors of Service, Vinfen Medical Director, COO, or as a result of discussion by the Risk Management Committee.
Support clinical services staff in their role as liaison with in-patient psychiatric units.
Participate in clinical aspects of Divisional program development.
Maintain effective communication with Vinfen administration, funding source staff, physicians, families, and other interested parties.
Perform other related duties, as required.
