Job Description

Based in Manchester, New Hampshire, The Moore Center is a $ 46MM state and regional innovator with nearly 65 years of experience in helping people become productive, fulfilled members of the community.

Vice President / Chief Operating Officer

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Vice President and COO. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, the VP / COO is responsible for program operations, regional capacity building, and strategically identifying new program and revenue opportunities. The successful candidate must be able to lead and optimize a variety of operational areas, oversee strategic initiatives, and assess and improve organizational efficiencies.

The COO provides leadership with specific focus on areas of direct operational and fiscal oversight in accordance with all relevant State of New Hampshire regulations and laws and functions as the organization’s liaison with the State’s Bureau of Developmental Services.

Qualifications:    

Education and Experience

  •         Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree in related field
  •         Minimum 10-12 years of experience in Human Services and/or Community – Based Services
  •         Minimum 10-12 years of increasingly responsible management experience
  •        Comprehensive knowledge of developmental and intellectual disabilities service system
