Phoenix Care Systems, parent company of Willowglen Academy-IL is hiring a State Clinical Director to provide leadership to our programs and staff in Illinois.
The State Clinical Director will report to the Chief Clinical Officer and will be based out of Freeport with travel to various locations in Illinois. The State Clinical Director will oversee a team of Clinicians and Behaviorists and ensure that evidence-based practices are utilized to ensure a comprehensive therapeutic program is provided for the individuals served. The State Clinical Director will also ensure that state and agency regulations are adhered to, as well as best practice for providing clinical supervision to all clinicians who are working toward obtaining their clinical licensure in the state of Illinois.
Qualification Requirements: The qualified candidate will possess the following:
A minimum of a master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or another human service-related field;
An Illinois state licensure as LCSW, LSW, LPC or eligible for professional licensure within six (6) months of employment;
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities population;
Preferred one (1) year supervisory experience;
Preferred experience utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis;
Availability to provide administrative on-call 24/7;
Ability to anticipate challenges;
Ability to work independently and with a team; and
Ability to communicate effectively.
Job Responsibilities: The State Clinical Director is responsible for the following:
Supervise and oversee all aspect of the clinical department following the company’s mission demonstrated by setting departmental goals and objectives.
Evaluate existing contract compliance, monitoring and reporting to ensure clinical goals are being met;
Project, develop and monitor revenue and expense budget for contracted and fee for service programs;
Develop, plan, and implement strategies to manage program growth. Review and recommend changes in program services to meet individual service needs within underserved populations;
Develop and maintain professional relationships with outside agencies, referring sources and parents/guardians;
Manage hiring, supervision, evaluation, scheduling, promotion, and corrective action to all staff within the department;
Provide regular individual clinical supervision to licensed and non-licensed clinical staff;
Provide in-service and ongoing training to staff within the company;
Manage and approve all individual treatment plans in accordance with clinical contract requirements.
Provide individual and group counseling in accordance with the treatment plan as needed;
Provide crisis support to clinical staff and individuals served as needed;
Provide oversight of program quality assurance functions for the clinical department to ensure that individuals need, agency standards and clinical contract requirements are met;
Oversees documentation by clinical staff and performs audits of clinical charts to ensure adherence to State and contract requirements;
Develop and implement clinical improvement processes in accordance with state contract and accreditation; and
Complete additional duties as assigned.
