What you will be doing?
This position completes analysis of federal, state and local regulations related to supporting children and adults residing in their own home or the family home. Writing and amending Oregon Administrative Rules for in-home and Supported Living services and amending rules as applicable are key components to this position. Additionally, engaging, managing, coordinating, and monitoring services for children and adults with developmental disabilities who receive services from the Community Developmental Disability Programs (CDDPs) or Brokerages. The primary focus of this position is to help ensure compliance, program contracts and delivery of services as well as the development of policy and subsequent training.
This position will fulfill job requirements in two ways. First, this position will be assigned operational areas of policy and practice related to in-home and supported living statewide program of DD services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Second, and acting within a team comprised of other colleagues, the position will act as the principal liaison with and generally coordinating/overseeing the operations of the delivery of services for in-home and supported living programs, rules and policy for Personal Support Workers.
