Your creativity and compassion are exactly what we are looking for in a Developmental Trainer at Memorial. In this position, you will work with adults ages 18 and up with developmental disabilities. Developmental Trainers with Memorial have creative freedom to develop programs to help our clients learn and grow as much as possible in their time with us. The Developmental Trainer plays an invaluable role teaching clients activities such as job skills and basic life skills. Additionally, this role includes providing time for “discovery interests” where clients share what they are interested in and would like to learn more about. We have seen everything from learning about birds to roller derby!

Memorial’s program is CARF accredited and cultivates a strong team environment. There are about twenty staff on site with a ratio of 1 to 10 for trainers to clients. Additionally, we offer a strong work life balance, as the program is truly 8 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday.
