-Under the direction of the Manager of Residential Support Services, provides direct support to adults with intellectual and/or psychiatric disabilities living independently.
-Works with participants in group settings coordinating and facilitating wellness, educational and holiday activities and events. Helps to improve program participants’ interpersonal skills and promote opportunities for community inclusion.
-Conducts assessments and interviews in order to find out tenants’ desires and needs and provides referrals based on those needs.
-Coordinates and monitors the upkeep of all residential community areas.
-Maintains records based on program requirements.
-Must be flexible to work various hours
-Self-motivated and resourceful
-Strong organizational skills
-Positive, enthusiastic and persuasive
Bachelor’s degree in a human service field and at least 1 year of experience working in a direct service capacity or,
A combination of work or equivalent level of education, work and/or life experience.
