Daycare Teacher
Full-time/Part-time and On-Call positions now available for Daycare Teachers at Easterseals in Silver Spring, MD.
We are looking for excited and creative Daycare Teachers to encourage the healthy physical and cognitive development of the Preschool children in our care. Join us in our inclusive centers and to engage, teach and motivate children ages 3 to 5-years-old, while encouraging them to explore using their budding imaginations.
As a Daycare Teacher, you will:
Create and apply a variety of activities based on your observations of the Preschool students interests.
Encourage Preschool students to interact with each other, improve their social competencies and build self-esteem.
Communicate daily with parents and keep the classroom safe.

Requirements:
Successful completion of required background check
Meet minimum education and experience
High School Diploma or GED
CDA or 90-HR MSDE Certification
(preferred) Degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education
(preferred) At least 6 months of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool.
