Job Posting Eastern Oregon Support Services Brokerage – Associate Director ~

EOSSB has a rare opening as the Associate Director in our fantastic agency. What this job entails; Support to a dynamic team of case managers, Oregon needs assessors, Executive Director, and other staff who in turn support approximately 470 people living in their own homes and communities across 13 rural counties. The Associate Director is the lead program and administrative staff member for EOSSB and reports directly to the Executive Director in execution of duties. Must have knowledge of Oregon Administrative Rules, ability to make recommendations for policy implementation, ensure Medicaid compliance, provide training, staff support, and operational support. This position includes fostering strong relationships with agencies, organizations, and individuals in the community. The individual must reside in the Mid-Columbia area as this job is primarily located at our Hood River office, but the applicant can also work remotely. The Associate Director supports smooth operations at our main office, which in turn supports our field staff. This is a salaried, exempt position. Salary range is BOE $51k-$65k – Benefits: 100% employer sponsored insurance also covers dependents fully, 401K contributions, paid vacation, sick, holidays, MASA insurance, and flexible spending benefits. We work under a Results Oriented Work Environment. ** Hiring bonus of $5,000 upon successful completion of 90-day introductory period.

Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s degree in a human services field and at least 3 years work experience within the field, or 7 years of equivalent training and work experience.

·        At least 1 year of experience with oversight of staff, projects or organizations supporting administrative staff.

·        Proficiency in word processing, data management and general computer skills.

·        Demonstrated knowledge of personnel management.

·        Thorough understanding of the service delivery system designed to support persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities and their families in Oregon.

·        Willingness to work evening and/or weekend hours, as needed.

·        Access to transportation for extensive regional and occasional in-state travel.

·        Some evenings and weekends are occasionally required.
