The Disability Law Center (DLC) has two immediate openings for a full-time Staff Attorneys. DLC is the federally authorized Protection and Advocacy agency for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. DLC’s core mission is to provide legal advocacy on disability issues that promote the fundamental rights of all people with disabilities to participate fully and equally in the social and economic life of Massachusetts. CLAVC Staff Attorney:
This position is part of a statewide endeavor called the Civil Legal Aid for Victims of Crime (CLAVC) initiative that targets individuals who have been victims of abuse, other familial violence, or criminal conduct. The service area for the job is statewide. The successful applicant will provide legal services and engage in individual advocacy on behalf of crime survivors with disabilities. In addition, the successful applicant will share responsibility with other legal and advocacy staff for providing technical assistance, consultation, outreach and training to clients, family members, and advocates.
MLAC Staff Attorney:
The successful applicant will provide legal services and engage in individual advocacy on behalf of low-income people with disabilities. In addition, the successful applicant will share responsibility with other legal and advocacy staff for providing technical assistance, consultation, outreach and training to clients, family members, and advocates. The service area for the job is statewide.
