In this role you will be: 

  • Working with adults living with developmental disabilities to effectively manage the daily operations of a residential treatment program.
  • Interviewing, selection, hiring, training, performance management, and overall supervision of staffing.
  • Communicating with individuals served, his/her family and/or legal guardian, funding agencies, social worker, etc.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations including title, title 17 and EBSH.

This position is located in Lompoc, CA. 

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health California is a thriving treatment facility offering residential and adult vocational or day activity programs to individuals ages 18-85 with multiple diagnoses. The individuals in which this opportunity will serve may be diagnosed along the autism spectrum, emotional and/or behavioral differences, intellectual and developmental disabilities, dementia/cognitive disorders, and medical conditions.

To qualify:

  • Must have 2 years of experience providing direct care or supervision to individuals with i/dd
  • Bachelors Degree strongly preferred but will consider additional experience in lieu of degree.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain ARF Certification in the state of California
  • DSP1 , DSP 2 or RBT strongly preferred
