Tired of 12-hour shifts, burnout, and bedside care?
If you’re an RN who still wants to make a difference—but in a way that’s more sustainable, flexible, and relationship-based—this might be the role for you.

At Compass, we support adults with developmental disabilities to live independently and with dignity. As a Nurse Advocate, you’ll act as a bridge between clients, families, and the medical system—offering your clinical knowledge to guide care decisions and empower the people we serve.

What You’ll Do
Advocate for clients during medical visits, hospital stays, and team meetings
Coordinate with providers to ensure care aligns with each client’s goals and needs
Provide nursing consultation to staff and operations teams
Track health trends, review incident reports, and make system-level recommendations
Carry a caseload of 45–60 clients and travel up to 20% of the time

What You’ll Not Do
No shift work
No bedside care
No rotating weekends
No 12-hour days
No hospital politics

Why Compass?

401(k) with generous company match
Paid training + professional development

A meaningful mission with a supportive, values-driven culture

What You Need
Current RN license (required)
Experience with adults with developmental disabilities (preferred but not required)
Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
Valid CA driver’s license and reliable transportation

If you’re an RN looking for more purpose, more balance, and less burnout—this is your opportunity. Step into a role where your voice matters, and your care goes beyond the bedside.
