Job Description

The College Internship Program (CIP) is a comprehensive postsecondary transition program for young adults on the Autism Spectrum, with Asperger’s, ADHD and other Learning Differences. Our Mission is to inspire independence and expand the foundation on which young adults can build happy and productive lives.

CIP is seeking a National Director of Admissions to direct and oversee all aspects of the national admissions recruiting, admissions, and enrollment processes for the College Internship Program and its affiliated programs. This dynamic role requires leading, directing, coordinating, and administering a quality national and international admissions program.

The National Director of Admissions works closely with all National Office functions, especially the marketing and communications, and effectively coordinates with site Program Directors and admissions staff to meet enrollment goals. CIP admissions places a strong focus on a quality process and great student fit. Example Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and evaluate a dynamic national admissions team
  • Direct and oversee a national admissions process
  • Manage sales forecasting and reporting processes with detailed data analysis
  • Set and communicate admissions quotas and activity goals
  • Coordinate in-person and online events, including information sessions
  • Continually develop and implement admissions training programs
  • Manage referrals programs
  • Manage contracting and fulfillment
  • Coordinate and participate in targeted national travel, conference, and speaking efforts

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent presentation, communication and managerial skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, mathematical/statistical, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to use technology efficiently and appropriately
  • Ability to travel a must
  • Ability to read and review materials including neuropsychological evaluations and other forms of testing preferred
  • Knowledge of international admissions and visas a plus


  • Demonstrated knowledge, competence and significant experience in higher education admissions and/or enrollment management
  • Proven results in meeting or exceeding quotas and/or goals
  • Advanced degree and/or bachelors in educational administration, sales, communications, business, marketing, or related fields
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience and/or training
