The Moran Company is pleased to partner with the Center for Developmentally Disabled to recruit the organization’s next Chief Financial Officer.

The Center for Developmentally Disabled (CDD) was founded 52 years ago to serve individuals in the community by providing a variety of services through three different programs. With all these services, the organization can assist individuals with disabilities throughout their lifespan.

First, the Rainbow Center school is a highly respected and sought-after institution for young people. The Rainbow Center provides education for children with disabilities aged 3 to 21 from 21 different school districts.

Another program, the PALS University program, has three separate locations. This program focuses on helping individuals develop and enhance independent living skills using a curriculum designed to support their choice of daily activities and access to the greater community. Also, as part of the PALS program, there is a career path option. The employment services program provides customized training and skill-building to promote employment opportunities.

Lastly, the Doorways program provides residential services in a variety of settings. CDD offers group homes, apartments, and single-family dwelling options with 24-hour support. This program focuses on independence, medical oversight, and community engagement.

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is accountable for the financial operations of the organization, to include the development of strategic financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve all assets and report accurate financial results. The CFO is a member of the senior management team and provides mentoring, guidance, supervision, and professional development to accounting department staff; and enhances the structure of the accounting department to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the department.

Requirements for this position:  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field plus five years of related experience. Preferred qualifications include: CPA, an advanced degree (MBA or MPA), HUD experience, and 6-10 years related experience.

The annual salary range for this position is $125,000 – $130,000, plus benefits that include health insurance, generous PTO, and a retirement plan with 6% employer match.
