Beacon Group is looking for a successful Vice President of Rehabilitation Services.

Since our beginnings in 1952, Beacon Group has been a leader in providing real jobs and employment-related services to people with disabilities in Arizona, serving over 1,700 people with disabilities each year. Beacon provides job training and placement, supported and center-based employment, and day treatment programs to assist the two-thirds of working age people with disabilities who do not have a job.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Create organization structure, direct, coordinate, and supervise the rehabilitation department.
Plan, develop, and implement new or revised rehabilitation services.
Develops and maintains working relationships with policy makers from local and state government agencies, and other referral sources.
Coordinates with supervisory staff to assign job tasks, resolve and document staff conflicts in a timely manner and collect and analyze statistical data.
Determines and oversees client acceptance into programs and maintains client loads at planned levels for each program.
Lead strategic plan development for rehabilitation operations.
Develop annual rehabilitation budget and ensure revenue and expense budgets are met on an annual basis.
Researches potential funding sources and writes grant proposals in coordination with others.
Maintain and coordinate all aspects of CARF accreditation.
Maintain an active compliance program to ensure rehabilitation services are delivered per requirements from referral sources.

Ability travel independently to different locations

Required Experience and Qualifications:

Five years progressively responsible supervisory or administrative experience in a social service agency.
Masters Degree from an accredited college or university with a specialty in rehabilitation or related field. Or Substitute for Education: Bachelors Degree in rehabilitation or related field with additional years’ experience managing a social service agency.
