Bancroft is currently seeking a Licensed Clinician for our Children’s Community program.
About the Children’s Community program:
Bancroft’s Community Residences help children and adolescents with autism, developmental and intellectual disabilities overcome severe behavioral challenges and thrive in homes in a community setting. Our contemporary Community Residences are located in southern New Jersey towns where children and adolescents live more independently after having developed necessary living, social and cognitive skills.
Serves as primary liaison for all communications between the school, social services, agencies, family members, and on-and off-campus residential sites. Provides social work services, case management, individual and group therapy for the person’s served, family therapy, and support services for students and family members within the applicable program environment; e.g., residential, day programs, etc.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule: 12pm to 8pm and 10am to 6pm
Education & Experience:
Master’s degree in Social Work with a minimum of two years of related work experience preferred. Current N.J. Licensure as an LSW, LPC, LCSW, or Psychologist. Current NJ Licensed Clinical Social Worker (NJLCSW) preferred. Prior experience working with developmentally-disabled individuals preferred.
Knowledge of social work services, individual, group, and family therapy, counseling techniques, and consultation skills required. Effective verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills required. Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to implement crisis intervention techniques required. Effective prioritization, organization, and time management skills required. Valid driver’s license required in incumbent’s legal name and current address with no provisional restrictions, as well as minimum of 1 years driving experience. Minimum 18 years of age required.
