Our Berkshire Center is currently seeking a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join the team.

The BCBA works collaboratively with the Berkshire Center Program Director to ensure the effective implementation and operation of clinical supports at the center. The BCBA utilizes principles and practices from the science of behavior analysis to promote skill development and well-being and to ensure person-driven and operational goals and support plans for young adults with Autism and/or Learning Differences. The BCBA may supervise staff pursuing certification as BCBA, BCaBA, or RBT, and will train and oversee the work of employees at the center in the area of clinical supports and services. The BCBA aids in ensuring the center’s professional policies and practices in keeping with recognized best practices and actively participates in efforts at expansion and growth of the center and its services.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:
• Uses practices from the field of behavior analysis to ensure person-driven, measurable goals and support planning for students
• Supervises others in effective, appropriate, and personalized goal planning services, treatment and program review processes
• Leads clinical and team review meetings
• Uses appropriate judgment and positive supports to handle student issues and when necessary uses de-escalation techniques and other strategies following student support plans and CIP protocol
• Communicates with staff across departments regarding students’ goals, objectives, and supports in order to facilitate student programming; reviews and contributes in writing into student support plans and follows support plan protocol when working with students
• Attends weekly department head meetings providing appropriate input
• Works in collaboration with other Department Coordinators to ensure Life Skills and all other CIP Staff are properly trained in any relevant clinical support service goals and support plans; provides observation and coaching support in this area for staff as needed

Skills, Education and Requirements:
• Master’s degree in clinical or counseling psychology, education, or a related field
• Board Certification (BCBA) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) required
• Maintains supervisory eligibility by the BACB to supervise candidates for BCBA, BCaBA, and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with recognized practices in the field of behavior analysis including functional behavioral assessment
• Experience working in educational or therapeutic service environments, working with referral sources, families, and direct services with clients/students
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Skilled in teamwork and collaboration, leadership, planning, prioritizing, and problem-solving; flexible and creative in thinking
• Fluent in standard office related software and technology
• Must be comfortable making presentations and attending networking events
• Belief in and knowledge of the potential abilities and skills of people living with learning and attention differences, Asperger's, high functioning autism, and related hidden disabilities
• Able to adjust work schedule as required including occasional early evening/weekend day
• Some in and out of state travel for training/special events may be required
